Conquer Your First Pull-Up
“A pull-up is a feat of strength that combines different large muscle groups to perform. Brenna's Pull-Up Strong program strengthens each one of these groups over the course of the program so you can do a pull-up. You will also be able to do push ups on toes, planks, squats, dead lifts and use weights that you would normally believe too heavy for individual exercises because you will get stronger overall. Also in the grand scheme of life, you will be able to carry your bags of groceries, pick up your child or grandchild, walk and hike long distances because you will get stronger. It's not just about a pull-up. I am near 60, have been training with Brenna for several years and have participated in past Pull-Up Strong programs. I can do pull-ups, plural. After purchase, you will receive a email inviting to the Run Strong Program. Please allow up to 24hrs for me to set your account.
The workouts will be accessible to you in the TrueCoach app.

Run Strong is for anyone looking to improve both their cardiovascular endurance and their strength. You can expect to receive two running workouts and two lifting workouts per week.
If you’re a complete beginner I recommend starting with Fundamentals or Thrive first.

In this program you will receive 2 workouts that are repeated twice each week for a total of 4 workouts per week. The workouts are programmed for you in the TrueCoach app. I recommend completing at least 3 of the workouts each week.
The workouts will be approximately 25-35 minutes long, depending on how many sets you choose to complete and the amount of rest you take.
Each workout has videos for each exercise with written instructions for how many reps, sets, and any other information.

You sure can! This program is perfect to pair with other workouts. These workouts can be added to your current strength training program, running program, or other workout routine.

You’ll have the option to choose between two workout variations: At Home or Gym.
If you select the gym-based workouts, you’ll need access to a pull-up bar, dumbbells or kettlebells, TRX or Squat Rack/Barbell, and a cable machine.
If you select the at-home workouts, you’ll need a pull-up bar, bands, and weights.
Both variations are effective, so you can choose based on your available resources and preferences.

Each person’s progress is unique. We all build strength and see progress at different rates. Whether it takes you a few weeks or a few months to get your first pull-up, you build strength and have fun along the way! Remember that training is a partnership between the coach and the client, the success of any program is determined by the amount of effort your are willing to put in.

I started the Pull-up Strong program in May 2022. I thought it would be a good addition to the personal strength training program I was doing with Brenna. It has proved to be a GREAT addition that has helped me with my overall strength, especially in my core. Aside from the pull-ups themselves, I really like all of the other exercises that are included in the weekly workouts. They are great for overall fitness. Brenna's programs help you build strength without overdoing things and risking injury. I have been humbled by how hard a pull-up actually is to do. But I didn't get discouraged because Brenna provided variations with assistance that allowed me to still practice the movements while I built the necessary strength. I could see progress every week. I did my first unassisted pull-up in January 2023. It doesn't look pretty yet and it still feels really hard, but because of how Brenna's program delivers consistent gains, I know I'll continue getting better and eventually get to multiple pull-ups.
