I started following Brenna on Instagram and really liked her attitude and approach. She seemed positive, smart, reasonable, and not intimidating. I have always been someone who prefers to do exercise on my own - with video or books but not classes and never a personal trainer. However, when I started to get more serious about getting fit and specifically getting stronger in order to be a more physically capable EMS & Fire service volunteer this past year, I felt like I needed expert guidance on how to reach my goals. Several months in, I am really loving training with Brenna! I have to admit the first week I thought, well, this was a nice experiment but there's no way I can do all of these different kinds of exercises plus videotape myself. Week 2, I thought, well, I guess I'll give it a chance through this month. Week 3 I was feeling stronger, better, and more confident. Week 4, I couldn't wait to sign up for the next month's training. Brenna is great about programming to meet my goals and accommodate my concerns. Her feedback is helpful, easy to understand, and always really positive and affirming. I don't feel embarrassed to have her see me struggle or look goofy as I learn things. I also like not having to think about what I should be doing - which exercise, how many reps, etc. I can focus on doing the exercises instead of researching and reading and wondering if I'm doing the right thing. Brenna has made a big difference in my life and training and I highly recommend her.
